NEUROLOGICAL CONDITIONS

Dizziness & Balance Disorders

Dizziness or vertigo can be caused by neuropathy in the feet, vision problems, middle ear issues, or other maladies. A complete neurological exam can help identify the root of your balance problems and develop a means of treating them.

Lumbar Myelopathy & Cervical Myelopathy

Caused by compression of the spinal cord resulting from disc herniation, hypertrophied facets, or bone spurs. This leads to leg weakness and poor coordination. Non-surgical spinal decompression is an alternative or going under the knife unless your condition is too advanced or your issues stem from bone spurs.

Muscle Weakness

Our muscles weaken with disuse and inactivity, or from neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis and ALS, among other causes. A neurological evaluation can pinpoint the reason for your muscle weakness and find treatment options to improve mobility.

Neuritis

A type of nerve inflammation, neuritis is caused by an infection, trauma, compression, or an autoimmune diseases resulting in different ailments depending on the affected nerve. A neurological exam can determine the course of action, including strengthening your autoimmune system.

Numbness & Tingling in the Arms and Legs

This can result from a vascular or neurological condition or both, in the case of diabetes. It can also be caused by a bulging or herniated disc in the neck or lower back, in which case spinal decompression can bring relief by reducing the pressure on the disc, allowing it to shrink.
